Its dot grid sheet style is great for journaling and making lists, and a pair of bolder dots in the top right corner provides space for writing the day's date. The bottom corner of each sheet is perforated so that you can tear it off when you finish writing on it. This makes it easy to find the page you're on and gives a fun sense of accomplishment when you finish a new sheet and turn the page. The notebook also comes with label stickers as well as 12 numbered stickers for creating monthly index tabs.
Made in Japan, this simple notebook was designed to create a writing experience that you will enjoy. The high-quality MD paper inside was developed in 1960 and has been continuously improved on ever since. It's tested using a variety of writing instruments to inspect the paper quality, including observing whether the ink feathers or bleeds, how it dries, how well the pen tips glide across the surface, how the paper feels to the touch, and so on. As a result, the paper is bleed resistant, feather resistant, and fountain pen friendly, giving the user a pleasant writing experience.
The notebook has a sturdy thread binding that lies flat when open, making it easy to write. The cover is made of simple ivory cardstock, and the binding is left exposed, allowing you to admire the simple charm of the notebook's construction.
